Sad news.

I'm not jogging anymore after this. Drink a bottle of JD every day, smoke and have lots of casual sex and you can live till 70.

Re: Pavel Srnicek: keeper in critical condition
Very sad and thought provoking.

As has been said already, for it to happen to an athlete who would have undergone numerous medicals with nothing being spotted (as far as we know) with regards to a dodgy heart etc then it does show it can happen at any time to anyone.

You either decide to make sure you get regular check ups and MOT's or you leave it in the 'hands of god' and live without fear.

After the recent shit I am going through, I would say the former is the way to go. I was lucky to have something spotted early due to being checked for god knows what else and I highly recommend to all of you to get urself checked or serviced after NY.

Mortality is a bitch.

RIP Pavel and ALL those who lost their lives this year.

RIP.

If it can happen to people who spend a large part of their life under medical scrutiny, then it can happen to anyone.

I like the bloke, but I remember the Millwall horror show between him, Bywater and the other 10 who didn't show up that day.

Pikies still dine on that nearly 12 years later.
